Homeworld is a family run business, founded and run by Joe Weldon (MD), with fellow director Ross Scott (Installations Director). With kitchen and bathroom showrooms in Kirkintilloch and Falkirk Homeworld have a strong team of 28 staff who are highly skilled in their specialist field and maintain a high level of customer focus and attention to detail.
At Homeworld we’re proud to be different. We don’t just design your project based on the available space; our design team work hard to find you a solution that fits how your family lives, and how you use your space. Our designers spend time with you learning what you need. We have been designing and manufacturing fitted furniture in Scotland for well over a decade and between us have over a hundred years’ experience.

Our 4 step process

Step 1
To enable our design team to create the most stunning, functional space that is tailored to you and your family’s requirements, they require all the latest design innovation, products and Quarterly Product development reviews help our designers achieve the best, Bruce our product & design Director helps homeworld stay in front only sourcing the latest in home fashion and finest quality products with the latest innovations and storage solutions.
Our principals demand only the use of timbers from managed forests and all waste materials are recycled.
Step 2
The starting point for our design team is to “get to know you” we will meet with you in the comfort of your own home, together we complete a fact find to find out how you currently use the space, what you like, dislike, what your wish list is and find out all they can about you and your family’s requirements. This will enable your designer to plan and create a functional and practical room for all the family to enjoy.
Once they’ve gathered all of the information and measurements that are required, this will enable the designer to plan and design your project. Once plans and 3D visuals are been complete, we’ll invite you into the studio to discuss the plans over a coffee and let you see the accurate, 3D plans of your new room and how it will look.
Once you’re happy with the design and layout we will then talk you through the various options of doors, worktops, handles etc. to make your new room perfect and personal to you! Of course we will offer advice too on even the smallest details and help you to put together a coordinated colour scheme for your new room.
Step 3
At Homeworld, we don’t believe in an ordinary service. We do more to ensure that our clients are happy throughout our entire installation process. The installation is carried out according to our pre planed schedule, which is planned and agreed in advance with clients.
All work carried out by our own employed fitters to help us to ensure the quality and continuity of the installation. Every afternoon our customer service department will call each client to ensure satisfaction, with any queries being dealt with immediately.
Step 4
On completion of your project we will issue you with all the documentation you require to ensure and care for your new furniture and your products guarantee the longevity of the products and works. Homeworld now issue a 10 year guarantee on furniture and labour, our customer care team are on hand to assist with any issue or concern you may have, they will also be able to assist and direct you to any third party warranties.
